about the author - Rich Wolfe

Rich Wolfe

Rich Wolfe is the best-selling sports book author in America — even though he can’t type and doesn't use a computer. Wolfe has written 52 books, mostly about sports. He usually doesn't put his name on the cover of his books, but he does put his cell phone number in each one.

His books have distinctive covers, unusual and plentiful color pictures, and a unique format of short chapters, funny headlines, pertinent trivia, and off-the-wall graffiti that allows him to tap into the reader’s passion for the subject matter.

Rich Wolfe grew up in Lost Nation, Iowa. He was the first All-State athlete at Davenport’s  Assumption High School, the first Iowan to play in The Cape Cod College Baseball League and a basketball and baseball player at Notre Dame. He has resided in Scottsdale, Arizona the last 43 years.
He has written 52 books including all in this package except for Small Town Baseball by Bob Meyer of Balltown, Iowa and Chuck Long - Destined For Greatness by Chuck Long of Altoona, Iowa and Aaron Putze of Des Moines.
